Grim greetings from me – the Wicklow witch Fionnuala Moran! When I’m not playing out Halloween hits for your spooky celebrations you’ll catch me presenting on RTÉ PULSE, being the Entertainment Reporter for EVOKE.ie and scrawling my showbiz diary for the Mail on Sunday. A vegan and sustainability enthusiast, you’ll only catch me drinking the blood of oranges and attempting to convert the screams of those I spook into reusable energy.
My Halloween name:
My favourite Halloween song:
Sophie Ellis Bextor’s ‘Murder on the Dancefloor’ for the start of a spooky celebration and working up to Kernkraft’s ‘Zombie Nation’ by the end of the night.
My most treasured Halloween memory:
My most fond memory of Halloween is the tradition of leaving empty chairs around the fireplace for my grandparents and our other loved ones who’ve passed on All Souls Day. My most fun memory is DJing the 1st and 6th year party in the haunted-looking old part of Loreto Bray when I went there – that was great craic!
My favourite Halloween Movie:
My favourite character to dress up as:
I don’t like to do things by halves so any over the top makeup transformation accompanied by a convincing costume, and the demeanour to match, is right up my street.
